Our team is learning to write persuasive writing.  Benji in Room 13 wrote this piece of persuasive writing about 'Cats Are The Ideal Pets"

I think cats are the ideal pets.

Cats are great hunters because they are sneaky and clever. They will hunt rats, mice and birds and chase off pests. They will keep your house pest free.

Cats are great company because they love to be petted on the head and lie on their backs when they want you to scratch their belly or rub it. Sometimes they will sit on your lap.

Cats are funny because sometimes they ride on automatic flat and round vacuum cleaners. When you do a bridge the cat might run up to your belly. 

These are the reasons I think cats are the ideal pets.
