Sunday 9 September 2018

This poem was written for me by Georgia, Room 13. I was delighted when she gave me permission to share it with you all.

Super
Pollen
Rainbows
Interesting weather
New born lambs
Green gardens
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spring has sprung,
A new season has begun,
No more frosty mornings,
Just beautiful dawnings.

Room 13 reading groups enjoy reading and presenting plays.  For one group the play was about a class whose teacher made outlandish promises if her class achieved what she thought was impossible. At the end of the play she promises to eat her hat if her class wins the tidiest classroom competition. Her class tell her they will look up recipes on the Internet.

Here are three tasty hat recipes written by children in the Yellow reading box group.

Jessica's nest

Photo: Malachi
Today Jessica brought in a bird's nest that her Grandmother found in her garden. It had fallen out of a tree during strong winds. We have enjoyed looking closely at it today - thanks for bringing it in Jess!
